Robert Weaver, a Canadian editor, anthologist and broadcaster, died on Jan. 26. Cause of death was not released. He was 87. Weaver featured Canadian writers and poets on the shows "CBC Stage," "CBC Playhouse," "Canadian Short Stories" and "Anthology." He also founded the now-defunct literary journal, The Tamarack Review, and created the CBC Literary Awards.
